1. No pitcher in the majors may pitch more than 3 innings in a game. In the seniors the limit is four per game, eight with a double header.
2. In Majors only, a 9 or 10 year old MUST pitch the first inning. However, the same 9/10 year old player does not have to pitch the entire inning.
3. All team players present bat in order, with a maximum of one time through the order per inning in all divisions. Major division teams may play with either 9 or 10 defensive players.
4. All play STOPS at 1 hour and 50 minute time limit when playing at Western Branch. This allows time to clear the dugout and have the following games start on time. Games may end in a tie.
5. Only one team practice per week + one league practice. Practice not to exceed two hours. (WB Only)
6. One game per week unless double headers are required to get every team a game in a week.
7. If a player does not start a game, they must start the next.
8. All players must play a minimum of two innings per game.
9. Borrowed players are allowed. They must fill all outfield positions before a borrowed player is permitted to play infield. Borrowed players are only allowed to catch with the permission of opposing manager. Borrowed players bat last in the lineup.
10. Both team will setup and clean up the field.
11. All teams in majors and above provide at least one but preferably two umpires per game in which they are playing. The intent is to get the parents involved (one from each team participating in a game). Don’t worry about intimidation if that’s what it takes.
